The Surrealist Images of Igor Morski

General

The work of surrealist Igor Morski combines analogue and digital approaches. His illustrations often contain their own secret messages and mythologies. Yet, there’s still something baldly universal in his subjects, whether unraveling or confined to contained within a seemingly endless wall of compartments.

Morski’s work moves between graphic design, illustration, and even set design. Sometimes his work is accomplished through photo manipulation, other times in analogue drawing. (And other times, a combination of these.) Many of them examine what it means to function in our current society, which understandably also invites the use of humor, as well as anguish.
